Many of the issues we struggle with as human beings are universal - you are not alone and support is here.
My expertise includes working with the themes highlighted below.
If you are looking for help with any of these, you have come to the right place.
Self-Worth and Confidence

For anyone who is struggling with insecurity, setting boundaries, negative or highly critical self-talk, uncertainty about work or studies, feeling uncomfortable in groups, forming relationships, feelings of inferiority.
Loving and accepting yourself is vital to your emotional wellbeing. It’s not uncommon for us to struggle to offer ourselves the same compassion and understanding that we readily give to others. However when low self-esteem becomes a consistent problem, it can have harmful effects on how you perceive, interact and relate to the world. Working on self-worth in a therapeutic setting can help shift this tendency and help you learn how to also nurture yourself.
In our sessions together, I can help you learn to
identify and emphasize your unique strengths, while addressing the limiting beliefs you may tend to tell yourself. You will be able to honor your own needs, set effective boundaries, cultivate healthy relationships, and learn how to trust your own intuition. And you will experience that it is possible to feel happy and self-confident.
Anxiety and stress

For anyone who struggles with some kind of anxiety, whether it be panic attacks, fear of failure, heart palpitations, fear of public speaking, fear of making mistakes, avoiding places or things, social anxiety, high stress levels.
We all experience feelings of fear. This feeling ensures alertness and caution in situations that might be threatening to you or your loved ones. Your body and mind are fully "on" to be ready to escape the situation if needed. Fear becomes a problem only when it makes your daily life difficult or impossible. For example if you experience anxiety in situations that are not, or are no longer, dangerous. And also when you become avoidant and anxiety hinders you from living freely and fully.
There are many effective ways to work on anxiety and unhealthy stress levels.
For one, breaking the cycle of avoiding anxiety and the struggle against experiencing it can be helpful. It often feels very unnatural to open up and dare to feel more, yet it may be a way to regain control and freedom over your life.
Sometimes, it is useful to uncover the roots of your anxiety, and we will address this in the treatment as well.
Learning how to 'switch off' and find calm, even when going through stressful circumstances, is also an important skill we can incorporate.
Building your self-confidence and courage is essential. And courage is not the absence of fear, but the ability to do what is right for you despite fear.
With my help, you will practice step by step to reclaim territory by doing things that you avoid but are important to you. You will notice that this way, you gradually regain confidence in yourself. You will become the manager of the emotion anxiety, instead of anxiety managing you. What's more, you'll feel more balanced and peaceful.
Grief and loss

While grief most commonly follows a major life event, like a death, divorce, major financial loss, or miscarriage, it also can come as a result of smaller, less life-altering losses.
Additionally, there are ambiguous losses which may be less obvious to others, but can still cause powerful grief reactions. Ambiguous loss can refer to the loss of an individual who is still physically present but psychologically absent. This is often experienced by family members of individuals who suffer from dementia, addiction, chronic mental illness, or traumatic brain injury.
This type of ambiguous loss may also happen when one is still emotionally present but physically absent, for example when there is no formal closure, as in the case of a missing person, the loss of an affair or hidden relationship.
Regardless of the cause, grieving may take on various forms and can appear differently depending on the person.
You might find yourself stuck in your grieving process and struggling to get back on track with your life. This can be accompanied by sleep and concentration problems, poor appetite, and a lack of interest in things you used to enjoy.
If you recognize this, I can guide you through your grieving process, step by step, at your own pace. This way, you have the time and place to express any grief feelings you may experience including sadness, fear, confusion, depression, as well as anger and guilt.
Grief is like rowing with two oars, one focused on the loss and the other on recovery. Together we will work on the steering skills, finding balance between those two. Working with me, you will have space for reflection, acceptance, and eventual restoration of a meaningful life despite the profound loss.
(Childhood) trauma

In therapy, I can help you navigate and heal from various types of trauma – single incident, childhood / developmental/relational and trauma associated with racism and discrimination.
Through the safe holding space and my therapeutic skills you are enabled to process and reframe the traumatic memory and /or experiences. I can help you explore and understand early experiences, context and triggers, and develop coping mechanisms to address lingering effects.
When dealing with trauma associated with racism or discrimination, I use culturally intentional approaches, providing a space for you to discuss your experiences, validate emotions, and foster empowerment.
Overall, the treatment is tailored to the specific nature of the trauma, incorporating practices such as EMDR, inner child, parts and somatic work - with the goal of continuing your journey to healing and resilience.
Relationships, sex and intimacy

Relationships take many forms — you may be single, partnered, dating, married, or practicing consensual non-monogamy. However you identify and however you love, your experience is welcome here.
You might feel stuck in repeating patterns, disconnected from a partner, navigating complex dynamics across multiple relationships, or wanting to better understand yourself before entering one.
I offer a warm, non-judgmental space to explore what’s happening beneath the surface. Together we look at attachment, past experiences, communication, and boundaries — supporting you to build greater emotional safety, clarity, and closeness.
Sexuality is a natural part of wellbeing, yet it can feel vulnerable to talk about. Whether you’re navigating desire differences, shame, performance anxiety, identity exploration, or the impact of past experiences, we approach these conversations with openness and care.
Together, we create a space where you feel valued — and where you step more fully into connection, authenticity, and pleasure on your own terms.
Low mood and loneliness

Living with low moods, depressed feelings or loneliness can feel like navigating through a dense fog that impacts every aspect of life, dimming joy and vitality. It’s waking up each day with a weight on your chest, feeling as though even the simplest tasks require an insurmountable effort. Questions about the lack of meaning in life often arise.
Treatment for low mood and depression involves a multifaceted approach tailored to your unique needs and experiences. In therapy, we’ll collaborate to explore the roots of these heavy feelings, identify triggers, develop coping skills, and cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself. Often subconscious feelings play a huge part and so an integrative approach, also focusing on your inner world, is essential.
Through compassionate support, inner work and evidence-based interventions, I’ll journey alongside you, illuminating the path toward more ease, lightness and connectedness.
Cultural transitions

Moving between cultures is more than just a logistical change; it is an identity shift.
I help immigrants, expats and digital nomands process the complex emotions that come with relocation, including:
-
Culture Shock & Adjustment: Addressing feelings of anxiety, disorientation, and the "invisible" symptoms of cultural transition.
-
Reverse Culture Shock: Supporting those returning home who feel like "a foreigner in their own land."
-
Identity Integration: Helping you weave together your heritage and your current environment into a coherent, authentic sense of self.
-
Intergenerational Dynamics: Navigating the unique tensions that arise when different generations of a family adapt to a new culture at different speeds.
